(NASDAQ: FCSE), a worldwide leader in Ultra Wideband (UWB) wireless technology, video conversion and digital media, announced it will feature its UWB technology designed to be compliant with the WiMedia Standard and Certified Wireless USB (W-USB) from the USB-IF and its TV-out video chips for portable media players (PMPs) at the 2008 CES Show. The company will be in booth 15003 in the Central Hall and will also demonstrate its W-USB technology in the WiMedia TechZone booth, 31642, located in South Hall 3. The show runs from January 7-10, 2008 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Visitors to Focus Enhancements' booths will be transported into tomorrow's home entertainment room and office-of-the-future. Applications for Certified W-USB technology will include video camcorders, digital cameras, printers, USB hubs, PDAs, PMPs, remote media servers and other forms of media distribution in home entertainment environments. In addition, the company will display a wireless hub and dongle pair under development for retail channels through a partnership with Amcor.
The company will display the following: . UWB technology - designed to be compliant with WiMedia UWB Standards and Certified Wireless USB technology; . UWB technology with WiMedia operation in the higher frequency bands necessary for acceptance in Europe; and . TV-out video chips, including the ultra-mobile FS.471, for set-top boxes (STBS) and portable media players (PMPs).
Focus Enhancements will be showing reference designs used in PMPs and advanced IP-STBs, developed in partnership with leading platform providers such as Freescale, Marvell and RMI as well as an array of commercially available PMPs using the company's TV-out encoders, displaying video to a TV.
